This week we celebrated Papa's 59th birthday and Easter. The babies wanted to make sure they took part in Papa's birthday celebration so they collaborated and decided to cry during the entire dinner. They just wanted Papa to be sure to know they love him and they didn't want to miss out on any of the fun. Owen had a great time helping Papa open is birthday presents and eating cake -- one of Owen's favorite things. Earlier in the week, I took Owen to pick out a present for Papa and when I asked Owen what he thought Papa would want for his birthday, Owen's response (he consistently answered the same way) was 'birthday cake!" Of course, Papa got a birthday cake and a few other presents as well.

On Saturday morning, Aaron and I took Owen to hunt for Easter eggs at Zionsville Lions Park. The event was fun, but the park was extremely crowded and the egg hunt only lasted about a minute. Owen almost missed out on getting any eggs, but luckily his daddy was thinking and picked Owen up and ran him to an available egg -- that's right, Owen only got ONE egg at the egg hunt. He didn't seem to mind, though -- in his mind the best part of the egg hunt was getting to see the firetrucks at the park. Here are a few pictures from that morning.

They are growing!!! Owen looks so big now, it's funny how that happens. Seriously, one egg from that humungous egg hunt? It must have been crazy. You look fabulous, Carrie, I love that family picture!
