Mason (who was 4lbs 15oz and 18.5 inches long at birth) was 7lbs 5oz and 20.5 inches today. He's struggling with reflux and hasn't pooped in over a week so we're increasing his zantac and the poor little guy had to get a suppository tonight. Hopefully these 2 things will help make him a happier little man. He's doing everything he should be at this point, but isn't yet giving us smiles or coos (this is OK since the babies are really only 2 weeks old developmentally). Mason has a lot of strength and can already hold his head up on his own for a few seconds!
Grant (4lbs 12oz and 17.5 inches at birth) was 7lbs 6.5oz and 20 inches long today. He's doing very well and is a great snuggler. I'm convinced that he will be a blonde-haired, blue-eyed version of Owen. He has the same skin and hair tone that his daddy did when he was a baby and Aaron ended up being very blonde as a young kid and has blue eyes. Grant has the sweetest baby cry. Someday soon I need to get it on video.
Mayleah (the smallest at 4lbs 7oz and 17 inches long at birth) surprised us all today at a whopping 7lbs 11oz. She's still the shortest at 19.75 inches long, but she's definitely got the boys beat when it comes to weight. She, too, is doing everything she should be doing developmentally at this point and even a bit more. Today she cooed at me while laying in her bassinet and I even got the faintest of grins!!! She's definitely taking it all in and studies your face while you talk to her as if she's trying very hard to figure out how to make the same expressions.
All the babies had to get a shot today and they each let us know that they were not happy about it at all. It left Aaron and I at a disadvantage since there are only 2 of us and 3 unhappy babies, but we were able to get them calmed down after about 5 minutes.
I can't believe the babies are 2 months old -- in some ways it feels like they've been here forever and in other ways it seems like it's flown by. Either way, 2 months hasn't been long enough for me to get used to being on display while we're out with the babies. While at the ped's office today, we had 2 'triplet gawkers'. That's not a very technical term, but it's all I can come up with to describe people standing outside the examination room and staring in because they knew the babies were triplets (their carseats were outside the door) and saying to their children 'look there are 3 babies!' (the door was opened because Aaron went out to the hall to get a paci from one of the car seats, he had just walked back in and hadn't gotten a chance to close it when the woman came to gawk). I understand that triplets are somewhat rare and interesting, but when there are 2 frantic parents trying to calm their 3 screaming babies, stares are not welcome.
On a more positive note, the babies gave mommy and daddy a huge give last night -- 5 hours of sleep!!! They slept from about 10pm to 4:30am, but of course, we didn't get to sleep until closer to 11. Neither one of us could believe it and I'm sure it was just a fluke -- but it was wonderful that they all decided to give us this gift at the same time!
This was our first week without Nana and Papa and so far things have gone well thanks to some help from a few friends. The babies and Owen definitely gang up on us in the evening, but we've been blessed with wonderful friends who have come and helped us both during the day and in the evenings (special thanks to Emily, Jill, Sarah (the dinner was very very yummy, Sarah!), Lindsey, Anne-Marie, Christi, Stephanie, and Paul, Angie, Madeline and Leo). It definitely takes a village!!! Thanks again, everyone!!!

Goodness...those weights seem great!

Thanks for the update! I am glad they are all doing so well! I will "try" not to be a triplet gawkier but I make no promises...they are just so cute :)
